Collective Worship

The daily act of Collective Worship at our school  plays a central role in our life and work. It offers important opportunities to strengthen our sense of community, belonging and inclusiveness and to reinforce the respect and care we have for each other.

Through Collective Worship we make a significant contribution to the religious, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of those present.

Our daily acts of collective worship are planned to give everyone a variety of experiences to develop spirituality through reflection as well an understanding of Christianity and aspects of other faiths and cultures. They enable us to reflect on and respond to things which we as a school community believe are important in preparing children to be responsible citizens now and in the future.

On Mondays and Fridays the whole school come together and worship together.

On Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Thursdaysn each class will worship together.

Our Collective Worship  is a special place for us where we come together as a school family to worship or where we enjoy quiet time for reflection.

Each class teacher plans and leads key stage or class Collective Worship and they set themes based on the liturgical year and Come and See. Children have the opportunity to plan, deliver and evaluate our acts of worship
