Welcome to St Bridget's Nursery - Little Learners Class Page
Our Learning Environment
Play and exploration is key to our Nursery. It means that the children are able to choose activities where they can engage with other children, adults or sometimes play alone. During these activities, the children will learn by first-hand experiences; by actively ‘doing’ as well as through scaffolding and modelling by adults. There will be a wide variety of planned and prepared activities by the adults, as well as allowing time for the children to initiate their own learning. Activities will be planned through discussion with the children around their current interests, as well as taking into account their learning styles and stages of development.

If you would like to pay for additional nursery sessions you may be eligible for Tax-Free Childcare. You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you'll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider. Use the link below to check if you’re eligible for Tax-Free Childcare, how to apply and how to pay your childcare provider. https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare
