My name is Miss Irwin-Holland and I have the great pleasure of teaching Year Five. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning with the children supported by Miss Riley. Mr Keen will also be teaching Year Five every Monday afternoon.
On this page you will find lots of important information and photographs of the exciting things that we will get up to in class. It will also be updated regularly with class news and links to websites that you may find helpful to support your child's learning.

Year 5 Homework Expectations
Spellings
Year Five spellings will be sent home on a Monday. Please help your child practise and learn these spellings ready for their test on Friday.
Maths
We use doodle maths to supplement the children's learning in class. Please ensure your child completes at least 30mins of Doodle maths per week.
Reading
Reading books will be changed every Friday. Children need to read at least 3 times a week.
Celebrate our Learning
We love to celebrate children’s hard work and positive behaviour. This may be through stickers, class dojos, class rewards or being chosen as our Star of the Week.
