History
Intent
Our intent for History at St. Bridget's is to provide engaging lessons that give children the knowledge and skills outlined in the National Curriculum (below). In EYFS and year 1, children begin to explore their own past and look at themes from more recent history. The aim for KS2 is to provide a chronological understanding of Britain's history and compare it to what was happening in other parts of the world.
Impact
Children enjoy applying their historical skills to building a cohesive picture of Britain's history.
