Hello and welcome to our Year 2 class page!

***From 5.1.21, School is closed to most children and learning will take place remotely. Please click the 'Home Learning' tab for more information. ***

My name is Miss Ross and I have the great pleasure of teaching Year Two again this year. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning with the children supported by Mrs Matthews and Miss Dickenson. Mrs Williams will and Mrs Gleave will also be teaching in Year Two on Thursday afternoons and Fridays.

On this page you will find lots of important information and photographs of the exciting things that we will get up to in class. It will also be updated regularly with class news and links to websites that you may find helpful to support your child's learning.

Should you have any questions, worries or concerns, please do not hesitate to come in and see me or email me. I look forward to working in partnership with you to help your child achieve their best.

History Celebration Day

On 15th October we will be celebrating our 'Great Fire of London' learning. We are inviting children to come into school dressed as a child from 1666. In preparation for this day, please can your child complete the following history project which is to be brought into school on 15th October.

I would like your child to create a 'Great Fire of London' jar using jam jars, tissue paper, glue and a city silhouette. You may wish to add a tea light for extra effect.
